Months, the country added 830,000 mobile subscribers
The figure above 832.2 thousand subscribers by the General Statistics Office has identified a 15.4% increase over the same period last year, including 2.2 thousand fixed subscribers (down to 88%) and 830 thousand mobile subscribers (18.1%).
Thus, the number of telephone subscribers in the country to end of 1/2012 was estimated at 134 million subscribers (up 3.9% over the same period in 2011), including 15.5 million fixed subscribers and 118.5 million mobile subscribers.
Together, the number of broadband Internet subscribers in the country to end of 1/2012 is estimated at 4.3 million subscribers (up 18.7% over the same period last year) and number of Internet users was estimated at 33.4 million people.
According to information from the General Statistics Office, total net revenue of post and telecommunications in January 1/2012 was estimated at 11.1 trillion, up 23% over the same period in 2011.
