FPT has said that F-1 satellite by the Research Group and built in late 2008 is expected to be launched into orbit on 21/7 here.

As planned, last June, the F-1 satellite will be moved to Japan, along with four other small satellites are assembled onto transport ships and placed on the HTV-3 rocket HII-B of the Authority no JAXA Japan Aerospace reporter to prepare the launching pad at Tanegashima, Japan.

According to FPT, the first goal of the F-1 is to "walk" in space and terrestrial signals, photograph the low resolution (640x480) of the Earth and satellite data transmission from the left ground speeds 1200 bit / sec.
If these requirements are completed, the satellite will be tested more complex features such as test 3-axis magnetic sensor SDTM, testing hub features SMS and some new features of the software satellite control.
The satellite was built to develop the world, but Vietnam is still a new field. If F-1 satellite was successfully launched, FPT will become the first private enterprise in the country successfully made small satellite, open the development of science and space industry of Vietnam.
